National Springs & Wire Products manufactures a massive range of products in almost every industry. We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated Dispatch & Inventory Manager to join our growing team.
This is a sole charge role, although you will be part of a wider production team. You will take ownership of the inventory/dispatch space and have full control of all the stock ins and outs. A typical day will see you responsible for the following:
- Picking and packing finished items
- Quality control
- Inwards/outwards goods
- Liaising with transport providers ensuring collections and deliveries are scheduled efficiently
- You will do the odd delivery yourself to local customers and suppliers
- Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy including stock takes and investigate inventory variances as required
- Organise and upkeep all of the racking systems
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and constantly looking for opportunities to improve systems and process
To be successful in this role you will ideally come with the following attributes and experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
- Self-motivated, reliable & hardworking with a mechanical aptitude
- The ability to work to deadlines and possess a high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to think on your feet and have a proactive approach
- Driver’s license required and forklift license desirable but not a deal breaker
