Shuk is NZ’s leading manufacturer of gaskets, gasket materials, seals and washers and a distributor of a wide range of plumbing, drainage and industrial supplies. With staff across 3 locations we are looking to add a key role to our Christchurch branch. A typical day will include:
- Phone and face to face sales and customer services
- Responding to all sales enquiries, quoting and developing opportunities with new customers
- Assisting in the warehouse with pick/pack, inwards goods and dispatch and other general warehousing duties
- Interfacing with production to ensure service levels are met
In a nutshell, the main purpose of this role is to provide proactive sales and customer service support and warehouse assistance. Our preferred candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing environment, have a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of production processes. However, an awesome attitude, good old common sense, flexibility and the ability to work in a demanding environment will outweigh your industry knowledge.
