Waitemata Endoscopy is a joint venture partnership between a team of leading surgeons and physicians and Southern Cross Hospitals Ltd. Our purpose built Endoscopy in the Southern Cross North Harbour campus has been developed to provide a comprehensive Endoscopy service to patients both on the North Shore and across greater Auckland.
About the role
Due to growth, we are looking for our new member to join this amazing team. This position is based in private day clinic facilities and includes assessment pre procedure, patient assist and doctor assist intra procedure and recovery.
Most importantly you will provide absolute high level patient care and empathy and have a genuine focus on wellbeing every step of the way. Further to this, your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will ensure you provide top quality customer service to all patients, staff and family members.
Hours are Monday – Saturday, rostered shifts between 6.30am-8pm and includes 9/10 hour shifts. This role could either be full-time or part-time for the right person. You will be rostered to work at the Glenfield, North Harbour site, however there will be occasions where you will be required to assist at the Henderson clinic.
About you
The successful applicant will be a team focused, positive, flexible individual who is capable of working in a busy medical environment. To be considered for this role you must have a NZ Practising Certificate and at least 2 years clinical experience or on the cusp of becoming a Senior Nurse. We are totally open to your nursing background and offer a very comprehensive training programme so Endoscopy experience is not essential. Bring your passion for people and patient care and the rest will all fall in to place.
